Lake Powell Trip 2015

Our annual Lake Powell trip was memorable this year.  I suspended my rules and allowed Marty & Hailey to bring the twin boys along even though they are still in diapers.  They are 2 1/2 years old but had done well with boating with us all summer.  It would have gone well except Colten arrived quite ill with a high fever and loose stools.  Poor kid.  He was miserable at times.  Even so we had very warm weather for October and our beach campsite was excellent.  The first couple of days we had smooth water and no competition with other boaters.  Cool!  No long hikes this year but plenty of campfire time and wake boarding, water skiing, surfing and even riding a Zup board.  The stars at night were spectacular.  The gang this year was Gordon, Deb, Marty, Hailey, Rebecca, Eric, Siena and "the boys" Carter & Colten.  Siena is now eight years old and fun to take along on outings.  It reminds me of the time when my kids were that age.  Good times.
